Our Story
Nearly 30 years ago, I recognised a gap in the market.
At the time, most landlords had little choice other than to use estate agents who offered lettings and property management as an additional service. I believed landlords deserved something different - a company dedicated entirely to residential lettings and property management.
Property investment from across Rochdale and Greater Manchester was growing, and I could see that investors needed more than someone to collect rent. They needed specialist advice, professional management and a trusted partner who understood that property investment is a long-term commitment, not a quick return. That belief became AJ Properties.
Whilst the legislation, responsibilities and expectations placed upon landlords have changed drastically over the years, the reason we exist hasn't. Today, our purpose remains exactly the same as it was when I founded the business.
